On Saturday, November 29, 2022, the Syracuse Orange played the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the JMA Wireless Dome for the first time since 2003. The anticipation of the event as well as a 6-1 season for the Orange made for a sold-out game and lots of pre-game activities. Read more »

Gallery: Remembrance Scholars lay roses to celebrate lives of Pan Am 103 victims

Every year at the end of Remembrance Week family, friends, and loved ones gather to celebrate the lives of the 35 Syracuse students and 235 other lives that were lost in the Pan Am flight 103 terrorist attack. The students' lives are remembered and honored during the rose-laying ceremony where each Remembrance Scholar places a rose for the individual they represent. Read more »

Gallery: 35 minutes of 'Sitting in Solidarity'

At 1:28 pm on Monday, October 17, the 35 Remembrance Scholars sat down in their respective chair displayed outside of Hendricks Chapel. The cohort sat in silence as part of the "Sitting in Solidarity" ceremony for 35 minutes, each minute representing a life of a Syracuse student lost in the 1988 terrorist attack of Pan Am 103. Gallery: Music unites students at Juice Jam 2022

Sunday, September 18, 2022 Syracuse University's University Union hosted their 2022 Juice Jam festival. The line-up included performances from artists Doechii and Yung Gravy who opened for Flo Milli and T-Pain. Students came to Skytop in droves to dance and sing along to the popular music. Read more »

Gallery: 17 Minutes of Silence held in remembrance of 9/11 victims

Members of the Syracuse Police and Fire Honor Guard gather in remembrance of the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The ceremony was held from 8:46am to 9:03am and dedicated 17 minutes of silence to mark the time between the time the first jet stuck the north tower of the World Trade Center to the time the second jet stuck the south tower.
