JUCO offensive lineman gives verbal commitment to Syracuse, becomes 23rd member of Class of 2013

Michael Lasker, an offensive lineman from Riverside City College in California, will transfer to Syracuse, Scout.com reported Saturday.

The 6-foot-5, 315 pound lineman is the 23rd member of the Orange’s Class of 2013. According to Scout.com, Laker committed to the Syracuse coaching staff during a visit this weekend.

With left tackle Justin Pugh graduating, Syracuse has at least one offensive tackle to replace. Sean Hickey resume his starting role on the right side. Andrew Phillips, Pugh’s backup, left the program last month.
