Allie Kelley earned Atlantic Hockey America Goaltender of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday. The recognition comes after Kelley helped lead Syracuse to a weekend sweep over Robert Morris, saving 35-of-37 shots (94.6% save percentage).

In SU’s 4-1 win on Friday, Kelley faced 11 shots in the first period. Despite allowing an early goal to Mya Neugent, the goaltender held firm until 23 seconds remained in the first period when she was ejected. Still, the Orange entered the first intermission with a 2-1 lead and never relinquished it.

The following day, Kelley led Syracuse to a 5-1 win by saving 24-of-25 shots faced. Again, the East Berne, New York, native allowed a first-period goal but recorded a perfect 100% save clip in the second and third frames, notching 13 more saves.

Kelley has earned five straight victories, propelling SU to its longest win streak of the season. The all-time NCAA saves leader has allowed just six total goals in that stretch. Now, Kelley leads the nation with 1,009 saves. This is her second AHA Goaltender of the Week honor this season, also earning the honors last week when Syracuse swept the weekly awards.
