Defender Katie Goodale and midfielder Emma Tyrrell were named IWLCA First Team All-Americans, the organization announced Thursday. Draw specialist Kate Mashewske was named to the Second Team and junior Olivia Adamson was named to the Third Team.

In her senior season, Goodale is a mainstay on the SU defense, totaling 41 ground balls, 44 caused turnovers and 46 draw controls. Tyrrell, a graduate student, set new career highs in goals and points in 2024, scoring 70 goals and 91 points through 21 games.

Mashewske earned second-team honors for her historic season in the draw circle. The graduate student set a new program record for total and single season draw controls in 2024. She’s tallied 10 draw controls or more in 13 games this season while ranking third in the nation in draws per game.

As a junior in 2024, Adamson broke out, tallying a career-high 57 goals and 81 points. The attack ranks second on the team in goals and points, sitting behind Tyrrell in both categories.

Syracuse totaled four IWLCA All-Americans, while Boston College had seven, Northwestern had four and Florida had three. The four teams will participate in Cary, North Carolina, at the Final Four.
