Sophomore brings Boho-chic look to campus

Kennedy Patlan styled dark green drawstring pants with a marled cardigan and a Guatemalan-made necklace.

Although the days of Boho-chic may seem gone with the late 2000s, sophomore Kennedy Patlan proves that the look is anything but out of style. The advertising and citizenship and civic engagement dual major paired a black American Eagle tank with some dark green drawstring pants — a super comfortable piece that’s perfect for a long day on campus, and not too warm for spring.

She matched the outfit with a gray marled cardigan from Delia’s, along with some braided sandals from Hollister that added to the cohesiveness of this Coachella-worthy look. Lastly, Patlan added a Guatemalan-made necklace that she said she raided from her mom’s closet.

Patlan’s love for neutral and earth tones and relaxed clothing definitely show, and she was inspired to wear this look for one the of rare Syracuse’s sunny days. However, she added the cardigan to be prepared for the wind.

As for style inspirations, Patlan didn’t name anyone specific. But because she’s constantly on the go, and likes to mix her comfy Bohemian style with a “professional” put-together flare — something she clearly has down.
