Weekend crime briefs: Oct. 24 – 26

A senior in the School of Information Studies, 21, was ticketed for violating the city’s nuisance party ordinance, according to a police bulletin.

When: Friday at 1:30 a.m.

Where: Comstock Avenue near Harrison Street, across from Castle Court

A sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, 20, was ticketed at 3:25 a.m. for sound reproduction, according to a police bulletin.

When: Friday at 3:25 a.m.



Where: Walnut Avenue near Madison Street, near the Martin J. Whitman School of Management

A man, 42, of Syracuse, was arrested on the charges of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor and improper signal, according to a police bulletin.

When: Friday at 4:20 a.m.

Where: East Colvin Street, about a mile from Manley Field House

Three State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry students, 18, 21 and 22, were ticketed for sound reproduction, according to police bulletins.

When: Saturday at 1:30 a.m.

Where: Ackerman Avenue near Lancaster Avenue

A junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, 21, was ticketed for sound reproduction, according to a Syracuse police bulletin.

When: Sunday at 3:30 a.m.

Where: Euclid Avenue near Maryland Avenue
