Syracuse’s season opener will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 31 on ABC and ESPN2.

The game, which will be televised nationally, is a part of New York’s College Classic and is game two of 14 games the Orange has agreed to play at the new Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. through 2038.

Syracuse is a 6.5-point underdog to the Nittany Lions. Neither team returns its starting quarterback from last season.
