Defensive tackle Isaiah Johnson of Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy committed to Syracuse on Thursday, according to Scout.com.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Johnson received offers from Hawaii, Temple, Massachusetts and Marist, according to Rivals.com.
Johnson is not rated by Scout and is rated two stars by Rivals. He becomes the seventh member of SU’s class of 2013, and second defensive tackle. Wayne Williams, a 6-foot-5, 330-pound Brooklyn native, is transferring from ASA Junior College.
