Marshall Street : Dunkin’ Donuts to close for construction

The Dunkin’ Donuts located on 746 S. Crouse Ave., adjacent to Marshall Street, will be closed for construction until Saturday. Officials plan to reopen the store at 5 a.m. Saturday, according to a notice left on the front window of the venue by Dunkin’ Donuts staff.

Walter Travassos, supervisor of Saint Miguel Construction, the team currently working on the remodeling of the store, said the schedule to reopen depends on whether the workers can finish the project on time.

The construction is part of a regulatory remodeling that takes place every seven years, Travassos said. The shop will not undergo any expansion or major changes, but it will receive a makeover consisting of new wallpaper and cabinets.

‘It’s just something that needs to be done,’ Travassos said. ‘There will be no big changes. Everything will stay the same.’
